Children: adding manually, CSV import, and GDPR consent
Sometimes one parent calls and wants to start right away, sometimes you have a ready-made list of twenty children in a spreadsheet. Both cases are handled in the same place — no re-typing from Excel.
Click path — one child
Section titled “Click path — one child”- Menu → Children → + (bottom corner of the list) — opens the wizard for a new record.
- Consent to process data — a required checkbox. Without it the record won’t save.
- Child’s details — first name, last name, date of birth.
- Guardian — first name, last name, phone number. SMS messages and the portal invite will go to this number.
- Save — the child lands on the list.
Click path — CSV import
Section titled “Click path — CSV import”- Menu → Children → Import CSV.
- Upload the file — a preview of the rows appears (names, guardians, phone numbers) before anything is saved.
- Confirm the import — records fill in right away, all rows at once.
You can search the children list by first name, last name, guardian or phone number, and sort it (e.g. by name or age).

Nagranie w przygotowaniu — wraca w tym miejscu.
Can I add children manually and import CSV files interchangeably? Yes — one record from a phone call, the rest from a file, all landing on the same list.
What happens if a guardian’s phone number is missing from the CSV file? The preview before import shows the gaps — fix the file and re-upload before confirming the import.
Is GDPR consent required for CSV imports too? Yes, consent to process data is required regardless of how the child was added.
