Profile: password, two-factor authentication and calendar sync

An account isn’t just a login and password — from their own profile, a therapist sets their working hours and syncs their calendar to their phone, and every user can secure their account with two-factor authentication.

Menu → Profile shows your photo (Change photo), name, email, and account roles.

  • Send password reset link — emails a link to set a new password (Planote has no “old/new password” form in the app — a reset always goes through email).
  • Working hours (therapist only) — the same dialog a therapist fills in when invited; here you come back to it any time, without asking the admin.
  • Log out.
  1. On the Two-factor authentication (2FA) card, click Set up two-factor authentication — opens a new tab with TOTP setup (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.).
  2. Once set up, every login requires a 6-digit code — this applies to every platform app using the same account, not just Planote.
  3. Turn off two-factor authentication any time you want to disable it — with a confirmation, since it lowers your account’s security.

Available to therapists, as an add-on to your plan (check Your plan if you only see a description instead of a link).

  1. On the Calendar sync card, copy the subscription link (Copy link).
  2. Paste it into Google Calendar (“From URL”), Apple Calendar, or Outlook.
  3. Generate new link if the previous one may have leaked — it immediately invalidates the old one.

Can I change my password directly in the app, without email? No — the only path is a link sent to your email address.

Does two-factor authentication apply only to Planote, or other apps too? It applies to your whole platform account — if you sign in to another app from the same provider with the same account, a code will be required there too.

Why don’t I see the calendar sync card? It’s a paid add-on to your plan — if you haven’t purchased it, the card shows a feature description and a link to your plan instead of a subscription address.
