Practice branding and terminology
A panel that looks like your practice, not a generic system, builds trust with parents and staff. Terminology, meanwhile, matches the app’s vocabulary to how you actually talk about your business — and you can change it later, not just once in the startup wizard.
Logo and background — click path
Section titled “Logo and background — click path”Admin → Settings → General tab:
- Logo — drag a file or click to upload (PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, max 1 MB, recommended 240×80 px or 1:1, transparent background). Shows up in the top-left corner of the app.
- Dashboard background — a photo behind the whole dashboard. You can paste a screenshot (Ctrl+V), drag a file, or pick one from disk (PNG, JPG or WebP, max 2 MB).
- Color palette — pick a ready-made set (e.g. Therapeutic green, Ocean blue, Warm sand, Soft purple, and others) or customize the main, dark, and light colors individually.

Terminology — click path
Section titled “Terminology — click path”You set this the first time in the startup wizard (see Day one), but you can change it any time:
- Admin → Settings → General tab → Terminology section.
- Three fields: Practice type name (e.g. practice, clinic, studio), Client name (e.g. patient, child, client), Specialist name (e.g. therapist, doctor, coach).
- The change applies across the whole app — menus, headers, and messages — immediately after saving.

Does changing terminology require logging in again? No — the change is visible immediately across the whole app, no log-out needed.
Do parents see the logo too, in the portal? Yes — the practice’s logo and colors apply across the whole panel, regardless of the logged-in person’s role.
What happens if I don’t upload a logo? The app shows the practice name as text instead — nothing is blocked by not having one.
