A child's progress — attendance and charts
Instead of manually counting how many sessions a child missed this month, one tab on the child’s record shows it right away — with a trend chart, not just a single number.

Section titled “Click path”Child record → Progress tab:
- Attendance — a bar showing the attendance percentage (color depends on the result: green from 75%, orange from 50%, red below that) and the number of attended sessions out of the total.
- Weekly trend — a chart of attendance across recent weeks, so you can see whether things are improving or slipping, not just a single number for today.
- Breakdown of sessions by type — a pie chart showing which sessions the child attends most often.
If the child doesn’t have any recorded sessions yet, the tab shows a short message instead of empty charts.

How is this different from the Attendance tab in the parent portal? It’s the same attendance figure, but the Progress tab on the child’s record (visible to admins/therapists) adds the weekly trend and the breakdown by session type — a wider view than what the parent sees.
Does marking a session as an “excused absence” count as attendance in the stats? No — the attendance counter is based on actual presence (see Session: attendance, notes and recommendations); excusing an absence doesn’t change whether the child was there or not.
From when is the weekly trend calculated? From the point where the child’s first recorded sessions appear in the system — an earlier period (e.g. before migrating to Planote) isn’t included.
